Resident Evil IV

Working on Resident Evil was fun. The first few days I wore prostheticface makeup. As usual, the days were long. It took approximately 20minutes to change into our wardrobe plus another 45 - 75 minutes to apply the prosthetic face and the rest of the makeup. Once we were in our wardrobe and been through hair and makeup we really looked like we were real zombies.

All the zombie scenes I was in were filmed in a studio. We started off by breaking into the compound where the humans were staying. In a number of scenes Alice (Milla Jovovich) is surrounded by us. On those occasions she appeared to really enjoy being surrounded by the undead and all the attention she was getting from us. It will be interesting to see how these scenes turn out as there was the green screen background for inserting the CGI backdrop.

I worked with most of the wardrobe and makeup crew before on sets like Dawn of the Dead, Land of the Dead, Love Guru and Alien Invasion. They are all dedicated professional people and is always a pleasure to work with them. But the real star is Milla Jovovich. She is not only beautiful but is very athletic. She does quite a few of she stunts herself. I look forward to working on her movies in the future.
